When we started the coworking space, it was essentially about meeting like-minded people. When we actually started running it, we faced a lot of operational issues. There were many things that clients wanted and we did not have initially. Eventually, we added those things, made the changes, and shaped the place into what it is right now.
Today, it is a very smooth experience for all the coworkers who have been coming to WFH Creative Coworking Space at Hanuman Nagar, Nagpur.
In this whole journey, there have been a lot of discussions, brainstorming sessions, and moments where we played the devil’s advocate. Especially when we wanted to install certain things like a CCTVs, Back up internet line, power backup, and proper drinking water arrangements at our coworking space.
Then, when we eventually started the second coworking location in Dhantoli, which we named WFH SAFALYA Coworking Space, we faced similar issues, but this time from the ground up. We started with nothing and built everything from scratch, designing the space thoughtfully along the way.
In this blog, Manjushree and I intend to discuss this journey in a question-and-answer format. We will talk about how things were initially, what were the ups and downs we discussed and went through, how the place has turned out today, and maybe also touch upon what kind of clientele we are looking for at our coworking spaces. We will also talk about who the ideal client is and what kind of people are inquiring for these workspaces. So, let’s go ahead.

My first question to Manjushree (Co-founder of WFH coworking spaces in Nagpur):
Tell me, who is your ideal client at WFH SAFALYA Coworking Space and why?
Manjushree : Well, as Indians, we never really say there is an “ideal” client. All clients are ideal in their own way. However, I would say that this place is preferred by people who are very creative and need a creative space to build what they are working on.
People from creative professions, this place is very unique for them. It’s not like a corporate setup with corporate cabins and workstations everywhere. It is for people who want comfort, silence, and a creative feel while working.
You open a window and you see greenery.
You see pigeons, peacocks, parrots, flowers, and experience silence right in the heart of the city. That is something you cannot experience in most other workspaces. That is the catch here.
If you are looking for something like that, this space is a one-stop solution for you. Just come once and experience it. That is the kind of clientele I think would truly love this place.

Okay, understood. So as I understand from what you said, creative people would find this place an ideal workspace to work from. But do you also mean small teams and large teams who are looking for office space in Nagpur? How does WFH SAFALYA Coworking Space work for them?
Manjushree : Alright…like I said, that, if you are into a creative field, you can be a single person or a team. You could be an interior designer, or an architect. You could be running a company that is into digital marketing, advertising, or even a small IT team working in a niche market. If your work requires creativity and peace, then this workspace works for you. You don’t have to be a big team. You can be one person, five people, or even twenty people.
Manjushree, we have also been getting enquiries from diverse set of professionals-from energy sectors to NGOs who want to start their office in Nagpur. Large companies from Pune are also looking to start satellite offices here. What do you have to offer them? How do you pitch to them? What are the strong points of this coworking space?

Anything you want to highlight about what you have kept or done in your workspace, keeping creativity and peace in mind?
Manjushree: If I have to highlight what we have created with creativity and peace in mind, I would start with the location itself. The location is very beautiful and naturally gives you a lot of greenery and calmness.
As for what we have equipped the office with, I would say you name it and we have it. If you want books to open up your thinking dimensions, we have them. If you need pin boards, blackboards, or whiteboards, we have them.
If you want space, time, and peace of mind, we have that. Who would not want working with birds chirping and singing in the backdrop?
If you want complete silence while working, we have that too. We have even made a cabin that is completely soundproof, where you get pin-drop silence for your work.
